Hey I love doing anything creative being from making music to trying new things.

I grew up in a small country town around Nashville, TN. Married young, had three boys, divorced some time back and raised my sons alone. Lately I'm trying to write more. For years I called myself a writer, and then I took stock and realized that I have done very little actual writing. I've also recently started painting, and my friend's wife gave me an oil pastel set. So it looks like I'll be taking that up to.

I wish I was more literary (Dostoesvky instead of George R. R. Martin), I wish I had the attention span necessary to watch all the great old films, I wish my appreciation of art was deeper than what I've picked up watching movies (and my one friends obsession with Dali). From time-to-time, I like to play or watch sports, regardless of what it is. I like to make people laugh because I feel that laughter is the best medicine. I like all kinds of music, especially R&B and gospel. I am the oldest of three brothers, I have dogs and cats (I am a animal lover). I like to meet new people to see what happens. As far as connecting on a romantic level goes, I am tend to be more attracted to white women, but I am open to anyone. Right now, I'm concentrated on graduating from college with a degree. I am a open-minded person who likes to have fun. I like to do a lot of things and have a good time. To be honest, I don't consider myself a perfect man, but I'm trying to the best person I can be.

I'm looking for someone similar to me I guess. I'm more or less of a homebody. I think most of my time is spent either at work, or playing video games / watching lame movies on the weekends.

If I had to describe me, I'd say I'm quiet and over-analytical. I probably dig more into expressions and words than most >.<.

I am divorced and try to stay busy with work. Just moved into North Carolina, so I am still trying to get used to my surroundings. I have a dog and 2 birds. They are my kids. I used to be a stand up comic, and hope to start that back up soon. I Love to bowl and I Play world of warcraft. I love my car and love being at home. I do not drink and try to stay away from the temptaion for health reasons. I do smoke, but ABSOLUTLY NO DRUGS. And yes, pot is a mind altering drug. I will not be interested in a pothead. Ok, self summary time. Here it goes. I am brutally honest sometimes to a fault, easy going and friendly. I show extreme compassion for those that get to know the real me but have no time for fake or games. I am 23, 5'10 and just moved to North Carolina from Michigan. I studied at Western University for Mechanical Engineering and in the middle of pursuing my ambitions, was deployed to Iraq.

I have traveled many lands and crossed many seas and believe myself to be well cultured. I am very easy to be around and can adapt to any situation. I have many hidden talents that are overlooked and enjoy life to the fullest.
