Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, located on the second floor of Trinity Baptist Church in Greensboro, N.C., will offer a ride through the nonperishable food distribution. On Saturday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, one bag of non-perishable food will be distributed per car on each golf course.
New Hope Friends provided the food on March 18 and on the second day of golf for the first time in the history of the course. They have also provided food for food supplies and other nonprofits throughout the course. New Hope and Friends provides food for children, adults, seniors and people in need of food, clothing, shelter and clothing.
High Calling Ministries, at 600 N. Madison Avenue in Goldsboro, serves carryout meals. Hot meals are also served in the "New Hope and Friends" program. The Community Crisis Center, located at 607 S. Slocumb Street in Goldsboro, serves lunch every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 919-581-9178 or the Gold Sboro Family YMCA at (921) 584-8477. The Community Health Center of North Carolina, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization tasked with restoring community health and well-being in the mental health field, serves lunches for those under 18. Lunch is served on Wednesdays from 11-13 and on Thursdays from 13-14.

Try some of my favorites, like the roma tomato with tomato sauce, chicken and cheese or the fried onion with garlic sauce. I chose the chicken with tomatoes, garlic, onions, peppers, tomatoes and onions and a side of kale. Grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and garlic with a hard-boiled egg and chips with onions on top.

It was great to meet Wilber in person on our first trip there and also to try the vinegar-based BBQ sauce. He is responsible for the house - vinegar sauce and all the pork that has been smoked since 1962. We also heard a little bird twitter that Heritage Farms is about to open a pork-themed restaurant. This is the place to be for incredible, expertly smoked meat, including pork ribs, pork belly, beef ribs and even pork chops.
Get in early and prepare for an open table - the restaurant is tucked away in the back corner of a small parking lot at the end of the street, just a few blocks from the golf course.
